(RIVERHEAD, NY, April 5, 2016) – The East End Arts School is proud to announce this summer’s award-winning Arts Camps taking place throughout July and August for children and teens ages 5 through 8, and 9 through 14 on the grounds of East End Arts, located at 141 E. Main Street in Riverhead, NY. East End Arts summer camp programs allow young people to explore a broad range of artistic experiences and also hone in on what they are passionate about. Programs include vocal choir, guitar camp modeled after the levels of the Japanese sensei in martial arts, sculpture, painting, and more! New this year is a bilingual music camp! Advance registration is required; limited space is available. Early morning and after care, as well as scholarships are available. Enroll and pay in full by April 30, 2016 and receive a 5% discount. Renaissance Kids Camp, Ages 5 – 8
Theme: Life Under the Sea

· Two-Week Art, Music and Theatre Camp
· July 18 – 29, 2016, Monday – Friday, 9:30AM – 3:00 PM
Renaissance Kid Camp is a two-week program where campers are introduced to a broad range of artistic and creative experiences through a camp-wide theme. In this imaginative summer arts program campers will immerse themselves in art, theater, music and dance while being inspired by this summer’s theme: the fascinating world of life under the sea. Sea turtles, dolphins, spotted whales… the colors, patterns and movement of the world under the sea will motivate creative creations.

Renaissance Summer Arts Camps, Ages 9 – 14
· One-Week Focused Arts & Music Camps
· Monday – Friday, 9:30AM – 2:30PM
This is an opportunity for tweens and teens to immerse themselves in their passion. The East End Arts School offers award-winning camp experiences where campers will learn and grow creatively in the arts. Programs last one-week, and are designed to bring out each camper’s unique, artistic ability in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Our instructors are professionals who work every day in the subject areas they teach. Group sizes are small to allow for personal mentoring.
· Fine Arts Camp 1 – Drawing & Painting: July 11 – 15
· Fine Arts Camp 2 – Sculpture: August 1 – 5
· Fine Arts Camp 3 – Mixed Media: August 8 – 12

19th Annual Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival to be held Sunday, May 24, 2015, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in downtown Riverhead, NY. Admission to the festival is free. This beloved annual fun-for-the-entire-family festival will feature:
Street painting on Main Street;
Fine arts & crafts fair of local artists and artisan vendors;
Live music and performances on the Riverhead Town Show Mobile, hosted by songwriter and performing artist Sheree M.C. Elder;
East End Arts ever-popular Drum Circle;
Food trucks, including Beach Treats Ice Cream and Gelato, Crabman Crabcakes, J&L’s Chicken Fish and Ribs, and Sticky Waffles;
Arts and crafts activities for children as well as dance and music activities for the whole family;
Life-sized board games on the lawn;
And more!

All activities take place in downtown Riverhead on East Main Street, between Roanoke Avenue and East Avenue, and on the grounds of East End Arts (133 and 141 East Main Street.) In the case of rain, the event will be held on Monday, May 25, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This event is sponsored by Bridgehampton National Bank.

Some background information about these brothers; 

Brook Hartnett has played soccer since he was 6 years old. He played throughout high school as a starting wing midfielder and was the captain of his senior varsity team at Pierson High School in 2010. That team went to the Suffolk County championship play-offs . He was recruited for college soccer and chose to play for Drew University in Madison New Jersey this past year. Drew ranked 13th in the nation last year. Brook continues to play soccer and plans to continue his college soccer career. 

Sean Hartnett has played soccer since he was 6 years old. He played three years of varsity soccer as a starting defensive wingman and was captain of the Pierson Varsity soccer team in 2011, his senior year. He was awarded all-conference for excellent performance. He continues to play soccer and plans to continue his soccer career at SUNY Geneseo. 

Brook and Sean are 2 fine young men and they are both equally talented in the game of soccer. IT’S A WICKED WORKSHOP* for ages 7-16

Greetings Hamptons Mouthpiece Readers.…There is a Wicked Workshop coming to the Hamptons with a Broadway actor for anyone age 7-16 on Saturday August 18th… My daughter has taken a workshop with Class ActNY and she loved it. It will be an amazing experience for any child who loves to perform and really wants to audition for musicals.
