Celebrate Halloween in the Hamptons 2018
Its that time of the year again…Halloween in the Hamptons

Hank’s Pumpkintown in WaterMill, NY, one of my favorite places to go. My girls always had so much fun picking pumpkins, getting lost going through the mazes, munching on delicious roasted corn, hay rides and just running through the pumpkin patch.

Bridgehampton

The Hampton Library in Bridgehampton will be hosting their annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Parade on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10am. Participants will meet at the library on 2478 Main Street starting at 10 a.m. in costume for some Halloween stories before setting out in Bridgehampton to go “trick-or-treating.” Visit http://www.hamptonlibrary.org/ for more info.

Frankenstein Follies at Bay Street Theater: The Ghoulishly Fun Musical Revue a Halloween-themed musical review directed and choreographed by Helene Leonard. Stages 21st annual Halloween Bash at the theater located on 1 Bay Street in Sag Harbor from Friday to Sunday. On Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27, the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. On both Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28, there will be a 2 p.m. show. Tickets are $15 each.  Click to PURCHASE TICKETS

East Hampton Fall Festival

The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce will host its Second Annual Fall Festival in Herrick Park in late October. There will be over 50 booths,  local artists, shopkeepers, and over 20 non-profits can display their wares and information. Dance or listen to live music all day – from bluegrass to blues. Acts include the Hoo Doo Loungers, the East Hampton Bluegrass All Stars, Steven Tekulsky’s the Judge and the Jury Americana Experience and the East Hampton High School Jazz Band. There’s plenty for kids and families too – the YMCA sponsored jumping castle and climbing wall.

Spooky Walk is a fundraiser hosted by the Moriches Paquatuck Squaws to benefit Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a camp for children and adults with special needs. Delivering about 45 minutes of scares, the Spooky Walk is considered the longest lasting haunted walk on Long Island. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the camp! $20 per ticket

Sag Harbor Ghost Walking Tour  

Annette Hinkle, will guide you on a haunted walking tour of Sag Harbor. The tour begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum and makes stops at several locations throughout the village where Annette will share ghostly true tales that have been reported there. Southampton Rag-A-Muffin Parade: The Annual Southampton Chamber of Commerce Ragamuffin Parade & Pumpkin trail will start on Sunday, October 28th, 11:45am

Children 9 and under, you are invited to join us in your Halloween costume for some fun, games and activities prior to the parade, from 11:45am-12:45 pm with the Southampton High School Student Council at Agawam Park. The parade begins at Agawam Park at 1:00 pm and proceeds through Village streets Windmill Lane, Nugent Street, Main Street, and Jobs Lane. The trick-or-treat “Pumpkin Trail” takes place immediately following the parade. Local merchants will distribute special treats to children in costume. Participating merchants will be designated by a paper pumpkin in their window.http://www.southamptonchamber.com

 

Sag Harbor Rag-A-Muffin Parade: Dress up in your spookiest or cutest costume and participate in the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Sag Harbor Rag-A-Muffin Parade” on Sunday, October 28, from 1-3pm… Meet in the parking lot behind the Laundry and parade down Main Street to the Whaling Museum. On Wednesday, October 31st @ 3pm the Pumpkin Trail will attract hundreds of Trick-o-treaters from everywhere down Main Street in Sag Harbor…
