East End Farmers Markets for 2011
In recent months my family has become more aware of the food we are eating and more importantly we as a family have made the conscious effort to look at labels and eat healthy. I had the pleasure of being introduced to Slow Food East End. Their mission is to spread the word about the advantages (health, economic, environmental) of eating locally and seasonally, and connect those interested to the national and international Slow food movements.

If you care about what your kids eat for lunch (or food policy or politics), then this film is a must-see. http://www.slowfoodeastend.org/
