It’s official Bridgehamtpon Bank and Hamptons State Bank have merged… The estimated purchase price is approximately $5.8 million based on the closing price of Bridge Bancorp, Inc.’s common stock on May 25, 2011. There is only 1 branch of Hamptons State bank in Southampton…The transaction will close on Friday, May 27, 2011.
