Hamptons Best Pizza (2025 Update)

Pizza. It’s the ultimate comfort food, the go-to for gatherings, beach nights, and casual Friday dinners. But let’s be honest—everyone has strong opinions about what makes the perfect slice. For some, it’s all about the crust. Others swear by the sauce. And for cheese lovers? Well, cheese is life.

As for me? I need the trifecta: crust, sauce, and cheese in perfect balance. I lean toward a crisp, thin crust—it lets the toppings shine without being overwhelmed by dough. I’m not a fan of overloaded tomato sauce (you know the kind that makes the cheese slip off with every bite). Toppings? I love it all—fresh basil and mozzarella, pepperoni with a little char, sausage and peppers, mushrooms… you name it.

Now the question everyone asks me:
Who has the best pizza in the Hamptons in 2025?

While some old-school pizza lovers still argue that nothing compares to a slice from Queens or Manhattan (and yes, my husband still mourns the legendary Gloria’s Pizza in Flushing), I think we’ve got some real contenders right here on the East End. From family-run joints to wood-fired ovens and elevated gourmet pies, the Hamptons has serious pizza game.

This list is curated based on personal visits, recommendations from locals, and buzz from social media, Yelp, and Google. My criteria? Traditional New York–style pizza, flavor-packed crust, balanced sauce, quality cheese, fresh toppings—and of course, taste.

Hamptons Mouthpiece Picks for Best Pizza (2025 Edition)

  1. Fini Pizza – Amagansett
Thin Crust perfection. I’m in love with the White Cheese pie with lemon zest and hot honey on the side. Yum! It is a bit expensive, I paid $39 for this pie, but it was worth it.
  2. P&G Pizza & Deli – Southampton
Unassuming, reliable, and delicious. This classic spot hits all the right notes, especially when you want a classic NY slice.
  3. Slice – Shelter Island
Worth the trip across the water. Creative toppings, fresh ingredients, and a laid-back island feel.
  4. La Capannina – Wainscott
Perfectly crisp crust, simple flavors, and fast service. Grab a pie and head to the beach.
  5. La Parmigiana – Southampton
A Hamptons staple. Their traditional pies are hearty and satisfying every single time.
  6. Sam’s Restaurant – East Hampton
Old-school Italian charm with consistently good pizza. Bonus: full Italian menu if you’re dining in.
  7. Francesca’s Restaurant & Pizzeria – Hampton Bays
Reliable neighborhood favorite. Great for families and large orders.
  8. Tonino’s Pizza – Westhampton Beach
Great for a casual slice or a full pie. Loved for their generous toppings and quick service.
  9. Springs Pizza – Springs
This hidden gem has a loyal following. Try the white pie!
  10. Pizza Pizza in Sag Harbor, this is a new pizza place located inside Cluckman’s, I really enjoyed a regular slice of pizza, I thought the sauce & cheese were delicious. I did find it to be a bit pricey but definitely less than some other nearby places. My favorite was the white cheese pizza with mushrooms. Finally a place where you can just get a regular slice of pizza in Sag Harbor.

Email me at [email protected] with your suggestion. If I try it and love it, it might just make the next edition—with a shoutout on all my social channels!

Because let’s be real—life’s too short for bad pizza. And in the Hamptons, we deserve the best.

Hamptons Best Breakfast Picks..breakfast is not only the most important meal of the day, it is also my absolute favorite meal of the day. How many of you love a good Breakfast? How many of you could eat breakfast for every meal? When I cannot decide what to cook for dinner, my daughter turns to me and says let’s have breakfast food.

Are you so busy during the week rushing, that breakfast for you consists of  breakfast on the go…fruit, smoothie, bagel, boiled egg or cereal? Wouldn’t you love to sit down on the weekend and have a big breakfast? When I have time, I like to indulge my family with a super-duper old style “my tradition” breakfast on the weekends by making omelets, bacon, grits, home-fries, biscuits, waffles or pancakes topped with sauteed bananas in hot maple syrup …  I know I go completely over-board but so what. If you are only having this type of meal twice a month, what is the big deal? There are however those days when we like to go out to eat and I thought I would  share my favorite breakfast spots with you. There is nothing more exasperating than going out for breakfast and being disappointed, so here are some Hamptons favorites by both myself and my friends. Enjoy!

Breakfast is very important for you  to perform at your best. It is not a good idea to skip breakfast in the interest of saving time, calories, or getting a few more minutes of sleep, remember that eating a wholesome, nutritious morning meal will probably save you time in the long run. Some people skip breakfast in an effort to lose weight. Skipping breakfast is strongly linked to the development of obesity.

I love Breakfast food and did you know that breakfast should be your heaviest meal of the day. The benefits of eating your biggest meal for breakfast may have less to do with your body and more to do with your mind. When you eat a larger breakfast, you may feel more satisfied and less deprived throughout the day. This satisfaction can help you to stick to your diet and make you less inclined to overeat in the evening.

There are several other places throughout the Hamptons that have really delicious breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls, (my personal favorite is Hamptons Beach Bowls in bridgehampton) Drop me a line and let me know your favorite place in the Hamptons to have Breakfast.

The Hamptons is a quick 1 day getaway from all areas in Connecticut, Westchester, NYC, LI(Nassau & Suffolk) and New Jersey. Renting in the Hamptons is an option that many people tend to do, it can be affordable you just need to do your homework to find those places. Remember when renting to always ask about a beach pass for many of the local beaches, the daily rates can add up and become expensive. If you are visiting for a day, there are some beaches where the fee is affordable but you might want to bring a couple of friends to share the expense.

If you would like to save on Parking Fees here are some suggestions:

  • Park outside of the beach Parking lot…Caution make sure you can park there legally, the tickets will cost you more than the daily beach pass and in the town of Southampton your car might be towed.
  • Biking to the beach is always an option and it is free
  • Go after 5pm when parking is free….NOTE*Lifeguard duty might be over
  • Hamptons Free Ride (Southampton and East Hampton)
  • Walk
  • Have someone drop you off

Step back into History, The David Huntting House, circa 1800

Located in East Hampton’s Historic District, the David Huntting House is one of five distinguished homes on the 2018 East Hampton House & Garden Tour, traditionally held over Thanksgiving weekend. This stately shingled house is known, by local architectural historians, for its beautifully proportioned pilastered front door surround, its paneled double doors and a remarkable curving stairway. The house has undergone a major renovation and restoration in the last two years and looks refreshed and appealing. Come and get first looks at this historical gem!

Known as the William H. Babcock House (circa 1720), this regal residence originally stood on Main Street and was relocated to its present location in 1964. The white picket fence is a replica from its Main Street days. The owners, working with East End architect Kitty McCoy, renovated the historic timber frame house in 2016-17. Materials and details from the existing house were judiciously added to the new additions. This aesthetically pleasing, local landmark is now located South-of-the-Highway, East Hampton Village.

A Modern “Box” Infused with Warmth, Color and the Illusions of Space

Situated on Bluff Road, overlooking the Atlantic, this spectacular Modern house has been infused with warmth, color, and the design aesthetic of renowned interior designer David Netto. To very loosely paraphrase Winston Churchill, this is the lesson: “Never, never, never settle for a boring house.

Respect the box, but never let modernism harden into a doctrine that stops people from being comfortable or from living the way they want to. It may be the architect’s mission to create a crisp, minimal envelope, but it is the decorator’s job to find ways to add mood and sensuality, even through illusion”. That’s where most home builders go wrong, they can try and make the houses look a specific way, even though most customers would rather have their own say on decoration and design. Not all home builders are like this though, for example, these home builders north carolina have been celebrated beforenow for providing their clients with lovely modern homes that are liveable and can still be suited to the customer’s taste. That’s exactly what the builder of this house did. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the collaboration of architectural and interior design missions, woven into perfect harmony in this “Mid-Century Summer’s Night Dream”.

“Salty Dog” Begs for some Lap TimeAffectionately named by designer Jessie Della Femina, “Salty Dog” is her answer to the challenge of building a new, modern home that looks like it belongs with the quaint cottages that have dotted Wainscott for centuries. It has been designed to be traditional and unassuming in style – both inside and out – but with modern amenities and technology. With a smaller lot, the house maximizes its footprint and outdoor features with a small pool, outdoor dining area, and an outdoor sitting area with Lawn Furniture and a fire place. Ms. Della Femina is an avid estate sale visitor with a passion for recovering, repainting and restoring the items she finds. More than three quarters of the furniture and decorative items in the house were found at local estate sales (some were refurbished and others left as they were found). Enjoy “Salty Dog” – bring a biscuit!

Tickets to the Opening Night Cocktail Party are $200 each, which includes entry to the House Tour the following day. Tickets to the self-guided 2018 East Hampton House & Garden Tour are $65 in advance and $75 on the day of the tour. Admission can be bought via:

Hamptons Happenings: News around Town

There are so many new things happening in the Hamptons…much has been in the news already, but then there are the lingering rumors that have been circulating and little birdies have shed some light on those rumors that seem to plague small towns.

SAG HARBOR

  • Harbor Market in Sag Harbor…I was originally told they were planning on opening in late February. I stopped by last week and I see that progress is moving quickly on the total rebuild inside and it looks beautiful. There are some issues that need to be resolved with the village and the neighbors, so unfortunately it looks more like an April opening. I can wait they will have artisan brick oven pizza….yummy…(.hint…hint butternut squash with pancetta and fresh mozzarella)
  • DSC_9713

  • Doppio Sag Harbor….I have asked repeatedly are they re-opening in Sag Harbor and my source assures me they are coming back. It has been rumored that they have not received approval for a brick oven or outdoor seating. I am anxious to see what happens with them this summer. I was really hoping when they took over they would maintain the Madison & Main crowd, but sadly that did not happen.
  • Ideal Stationary.….after years on Main Street, owners have decided to retire and close up the store. Since they own the property they will leasing and it has been rumored that Henry Lehr will be moving into that spot. Henry Lehr currently has a location on Newtown Lane in East Hampton, are they closing that location or opening up a second location in Sag Harbor. I called to get a response but I was told “no response”….hmmmm it is a wait and see for now…..
  • The vacant space that once occupied the Village Cleaners 3 years ago….has been cleared out and I was told today that a new business is moving in April 1st 2015. It has been rumored that Shoe-Inn might be opening up a spot in Sag Harbor Village, I called to get some information from Shoe-Inn corporate and I was told we “have no comment”…hmmm is that a YES….Guess I will have to wait until April 1st to see who’s moving in.
  • Pepalajefa the gourmet take-out has closed their doors for good and that space is available for rent. Does this surprise anyone that they are closing? The name was complicated to pronounce and the food was over the top expensive.
  • Harlow in the Harbor: Contrary to the rumors being spread, they will be re-opening this Spring and “Back Harlow” will be back with some great bands. Looking forward to seeing what is on the menu this summer. I enjoyed “Back Harlow very much last year, entertaining and FUN, just what was lacking in the Harbor. I wonder who’s in the line-up for entertainment this summer
  • Copious Row an online store in opening in Sag Harbor this Spring 2015 with rare and specialized items that are not commonly found. A variety of criteria is considered and includes: top quality craftsmanship, a powerful origin story, and a supreme esthetic appeal. The perfect gift when nothing ordinary will do.

Looks like the Sag Harbor Pharmacy might be getting some competition in the area soon, more info to come on that soon….

Provisions:will be sporting a new look this season….They have been under renovation since the 14th of March and will be re-opening on March 25th. Can’t wait to see the new look.

    SOUTHAMPTON:
Denim brand 3×1 is branching out from SoHo to Southampton this summer.3×1.us

    EAST HAMPTON:
Winston’s Restaurant Opening date to be moved to April..

East Hampton airport might be decreasing the number of private Helicopters landing this summer… CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO

East Hampton Bowling Alley will be Become a Retail Space

Word on the street is that the new tenant in the former Georgica space is Bridgehampton Italian stalwart Osteria Salina.

MONTAUK:
Scarpetta, will be opening in Montauk, Long Island this summer, according to Eater. LDV Hospitality will be taking over the restaurant located at Gurney’s Inn in Montauk.

More updates for Hamptons Happenings to come soon…….
