 Harborfrost 2013…Get your freeze on..Greetings Hamptons MouthPiece Readers....Sag Harbor the Nominated Happiest Seaside town in America is hosting The 3rd Annual HARBORFROST the last weekend in January. Whose ready to get your freeze on for the Frosty Plunge? I have attended this event for the last 2 years and I look forward to it every year. It will be brisk but with all the activities it won’t feel so cold.  This year’s featuring events: The First Frost Ball – a playful kick-off party at Muse in the Harbor Family Fun Day – Ice Carving, Fire Dancers, Fireworks, Treasure Hunt and more. On Main Street – Special Sales, Live Music, Local Restaurants, Art Walk Frosty Plunge at Windmill Beach benefiting the Volunteer Ambulance Corp Pancake Breakfast benefiting the Volunteer Fire Department Soup Contest benefiting the John Jermain Library. Last year I had a great time with watching the brave souls take a plunge in the icy waters for a great cause to the 1st QUIZ BOWL FUN’raiser NIGHT to support our kids! This year Sag Harbor is adding in a FrostBall. 

FROSTBALL: February 8th 201 6pm – 10pm

Saturday, February 9th is the 3rd ANNUAL HARBORFROST Day and one not to be missed. My favorite highlight of the day last year was the Frosty Plunge…these BRAVE people took the plunge…take a look at some of the photo’s from that event…

My brave 13-year-old took the plunge and I am told she is doing it again this year…maybe her photographer dad will get the picture this year…..

After enjoying the days events at HarborFrost. stay a little longer as the evening continues for a FUN’raiser QUIZ SHOW CONTEST.

Date: Saturday evening February 9th @7PM
Place: Stella Maris Gymnasium, Sag Harbor

Time: Doors open at 7:00pm and the quiz bowl begins at 7:30pm and festivities should wind down at 10:30-11:00pm.  Admission is $25..It is encouraged advance ticket purchases so that your team is guaranteed a table and admission.   Teams of 4-5 people will compete. Attendees will be assigned tables of 4-5 or 2 teams in a table of 8.  Those that currently do not have a team will be put on a team on the night of the Fun’Raiser! Not to worry…  Brush up on Pop News, Current Events, Past events, Jeopardy wanna-bees WANTED AND NEEDED FOR MY TEAM! So get ready for lots of laughs, good fun and good food/beer and wine all evening!
